Giovanni Peri

Giovanni Peri is a professor of Economics at University of California, Davis and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. In addition, Peri serves as an editor of the “Journal of the European Economic Association” and is the founder and director of the UC Davis Global Migration Center.

His research focuses on the determinants of international migration, and the impact of migration on labor and productivity in receiving countries. Peri’s work has been supported by esteemed institutions such as the National Science Foundation and the World Bank, the New York Times and the Washington Post.
